From 1 July until 31 December, Spain will hold the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. For this reason, CECA, the banking association of savings banks and banks created by such banks, has presented the document 'Positioning of the CECA sector: contributions and proposals'. The document identifies the financial regulation issues that the association believes should be addressed as a priority during the Spanish Presidency. In addition, during the presentation event, different round table discussions were held on the issues analysed in the document. The event brought together representatives from the banking sector and the Public Administration.
