The companies that make up the association are represented in our governing bodies.
Decisions are adopted on a joint basis and its members perform functions to the exclusive benefit of the interests of CECA, of the companies that it represents and of the fulfilment of its social function.
The General Meeting is made up of representatives appointed by the member companies. It is CECA's main decision making body and its members will represent the general interests of savings and savers.
The Board of Directors is responsible for administering, managing and representing CECA. Therefore, this body performs the function of the association's government and administration, and represents it in all issues regarding its business or custom and in litigation, with the powers explicitly granted to it by the articles of association.
Savings banks, through the foundations that they are linked to or their Obras Sociales Commission, as well as banking foundations, can participate in the Foundations and Obras Sociales Commission. This body is advisory by nature and is linked to CECA's own Obras Sociales, the Fundación de Cajas de Ahorros (Funcas) [Savings Banks Foundation].
