The lack of financial resources is one of the obstacles faced by this group, which has an ally in Fundación Caja de Burgos. Find out how in Javier Molina's talk with his head of Business Dynamism, Javier Cuasante

Do you think you have come up with a unique solution, but are afraid of failure or need financial muscle to develop it? Have you created an innovative service or product, but lack support to promote it?

The fear of not succeeding and the lack of government support are the main obstacles faced by Spanish entrepreneurs, according to a report by the Observatorio del Emprendimiento en España (Observatory of Entrepreneurship in Spain). Moreover, the business survival rate in our country does not exceed five years and one in three projects dies before that time, according to another study by Iberinform.

However, if you knock on doors, you can find organisations that support entrepreneurial activity. One example is the 'Entrepreneurs' project of Fundación Caja de Burgos, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year with the aim of "transforming innovative ideas into effective companies".

In the latest episode of Ideas con Valor, Javier Cuasante, head of Business Dynamism at Fundación Caja de Burgos, explains the two phases of the programme as an incubator and accelerator of projects, with the aim of "expanding them over time, supporting projects as they progress through the years or reach milestones and adding new projects that generate new opportunities".

The programme covers the costs of creating prototypes, market research and technical certifications necessary for start-up, and facilitates financing through equity loans or capital inflows.

It is not aimed at any specific sector and one of the two requirements is that it must include a differential, innovative component, which does not necessarily mean that it has to be technological. The other requirement relates to job creation.

If you have an innovative idea, this could be the catalyst you are looking for. Listen to the podcast, available on Ivoox, Spotify and Apple Podcast and find out if your project is eligible for these grants, which have already benefited more than one hundred entrepreneurs.

You can also listen to previous episodes of Ideas con Valor, a space designed to help savers and investors make better financial decisions with the help of renowned managers and experts, providing valuable ideas, not only in terms of financial assets, but also digital assets.

This section flows in two forums. The 6th edition of the Blockchain & Digital Assets Forum will be held on 7 November, where experts and entrepreneurs will share value propositions for companies and investors in the so-called decentralised economy. On 31 May we held the 7th edition of the Ideas con Valor forum, in which twenty experts and fund managers shared investment proposals to help in financial decision-making.
