Alberto Aza, spokesperson for CECA, took part in an Actualidad Económica special on the importance of financial literacy to defend against cyberattacks.

In the article, Alberto Aza highlights how digitalisation has helped familiarise citizens with financial products and services, making specialised information and financial training more accessible. According to Alberto, financial education programmes promoted by CECA member institutions in 2023 generated over 33.7 million digital engagements — a figure that would have been difficult to achieve through in-person formats.

Alberto also notes how active collaboration between banking institutions, educational bodies, public administrations, and specialised organisations is essential to design effective training programmes.
