On the occasion of on the Day of the Financial Education celebrated on 7 October, Alberto Aza, CECA's spokesman, has participated in the programme ‘Open Market ’, of Pivotal Radio.
In the interview, Alberto Aza has highlighted the key role that carries out the financial sector in the improvement of the financial educational level of the town. For the spokesman: «Throughout the life take many financial decisions and suits that we take them fully aware and in an informed way since if not, the risks are very relevant».
Aza has pointed out, also, the poor financial knowledge level of the Spanish and the needs derived from the digitisation, including the linked with the digital gap and the ones related to aspects of cybersecurity.
To address these challenges, the spokesperson noted that the CECA sector has invested nearly €18 million over the past six years, as outlined in the Executive Report on Financial Education, which places CECA as one of the largest investors in financial literacy in Spain.
