‘Financial and Digital’classroom, the educational platform boosted by the Spanish Banking Association (AEB), CECA and the National Credit cooperatives Union (Unacc) to promote the financial knowledge and the digital training of all the town, expands its training offer in 2025 with 82 new initiatives, videos and podcasts. This supposes an increase of 15% with respect to last year.
In this third anniversary, the platform raises the total of training contents offered by on top of the 600. The collected initiatives on the website are itemised by groups to those which address and subject matters of reference; and they cover different formats and different access channels.
Thus, 40% of initiatives that adds ‘Financial and Digital’ Classroom are given with character in person, whereas the another quarter addresses specifically to vulnerable groups. For topics, one of each three initiatives is on cybersecurity.
On the personal data protection, a year of the launch of the space is fulfilled of cybersecurity of ‘Financial and Digital’Classroom, that offers practical advice to prevent cyberscams, as a guide, videos and audios of experts. These contents are offered also in the campaign ‘The banking sector, with you’, in the main radio stations.
The increase of the training programmes in the platform reflects the commitment of the banking sector with the financial and digital education, so that all the people can operate with security and confidence in all the available service channels. According to the latest data of Finresp, more than 3.5 million people benefited from financial and digital education programs boosted by the sector in 2023.
‘Financial and Digital’ classroom is an only space of training result of adopted commitments in the Protocol strategic to strengthen the social and sustainable commitment of the banking. The platform went recognised in 2022 with the prize “Finances for everyone ”, an award with regard to financial education boosted by the Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores (CNMV), the Banco de España and the Ministry of the Economy, Trade and Company.
