CECA, the Spanish Banking Association (AEB) and the National Union of Credit Cooperatives (UNACC) presented on 12 July 2022 the "Report on Financial Inclusion in Spain", prepared by the Valencian Institute of Economic Research (IVIE), which updates the map on access to financial services in rural Spain.
As part of the commitments acquired by the banking sector in its roadmap to ensure full access to financial services in rural areas, the banking associations have published the first Quarterly Financial Inclusion Monitoring Report for municipalities with more than 500 inhabitants.
