The entities of the CECA Agreement agree on measures for the equality of the LGTBI community

Today, CECA and its associated entities linked by the Collective Agreement of Savings Banks and Financial Entities have reached an agreement with the majority of the legal representation of the workers to incorporate into the collective agreement text the development of a set of measures aimed at achieving effective and real equality for the LGTBI community.

Additionally, a protocol of action has been agreed upon in cases of harassment in accordance with what is established by Royal Decree 1026/2024, of October 8, which outlines the planned set of measures for equality and non-discrimination of LGTBI individuals in companies.

The aforementioned agreement has been signed by the organizations FINE, CCOO, UGT, and CIC, which encompass 87.27% of the representation in the sector.

With the signing of this agreement, the savings sector becomes one of the first to comply with the regulation in this matter.

The associated entities linked by the Collective Agreement of Savings Banks and Financial Entities are CaixaBank, Unicaja, ABANCA, Ibercaja Banco, Caixa Ontinyent, Caixa Pollença, and Cecabank.
