A banking service for progress of people, territories and the future of the country

Policy of cookies

In accordance with the provisions of Article 22.2 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI), in relation to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), we inform you about the cookies used on Ceca’s websites and their purposes.

What are cookies?

Cookies are any kind of data storage and retrieval device used on a user’s terminal to store information and retrieve previously stored data. Cookies allow for the storage on the user’s terminal of amounts of data ranging from a few kilobytes to several megabytes.

The cookie helps the website remember information about your visit, such as language or currency preferences during purchasing activities and other configuration parameters.

They can also be used to log anonymous information about how a visitor uses a website, for example, from which page they accessed it.

These files help improve your navigation so that your next visit is easier and enhance your user experience. Cookies are used on most web pages.

How do we classify cookies based on how long they stay active?

Essentially, there are two types of cookies:

Session cookies, which expire when you
leave the page or close your browser, that is, they are active while
your visit to our website lasts. They are deleted when you switch off the device.

Permanent cookies, which expire when
the purpose for which they serve is met or when they are deleted manually,
all have an automatic deletion date and are normally used in
online purchase processes, customizations, or logins, to avoid
having to enter the password constantly.

How do we classify the cookies we use at Ceca based on their purpose?

At Ceca, we use the following cookies:

Technical cookies: These are necessary for you to navigate the Ceca website correctly and to be able to access its content without issues.

Third-party cookies: They allow us to perform measurement and statistical analysis of users’ usage of our website. This helps us analyze their navigation to improve and adapt our website to their preferences. At Ceca, we use Google Analytics, Google’s web analytics service. You can find information about how these cookies are used in Google Analytics’ Privacy Policy. You can also find out about any transfers to third countries that might occur (the URL for Google Analytics’ Privacy Policy is: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=en)
