CECA will present a new version of the Spanish Financial Education Network website on October 3: www.rededucacionfinanciera.es
On October 3, the second edition of Financial Education Day will be celebrated in Spain, in which CECA participates as a collaborating entity. Once again, Savings Banks, Banks created by the Savings Banks, and Foundations in the sector will conduct a wide range of activities throughout the national territory. The common goal of all these activities will be to disseminate the importance of financial planning, saving, and access to information as the basis for economic decision-making.
The entities associated with CECA have executed over 500 financial education programs during 2015, reaching more than one and a half million beneficiaries across the nation. In this way, the financial sector reaffirms its social commitment and the education of citizens in savings and finance.
Among the planned events, CECA will present a new version of the Spanish Financial Education Network website: www.rededucacionfinanciera.es/. This online platform, created in 2009, serves as a meeting point for all professionals in Financial Education through which they can share knowledge, news, articles of interest, and events.
Additionally, CECA, in collaboration with FUNCAS and Radio Nacional de España, plans to broadcast a special program within its radio show on financial education (Finanzas para todos los Públicos) on “The Financial Education of Our Children.”
The activities that the adhering entities have scheduled for Financial Education Day will take place in multiple locations across Spain and will be targeted at different audience segments.
