CECA reaches an agreement for the registration of working hours

An agreement has been reached with the majority of the union representation and is pending ratification

The agreement combines legal compliance with the flexibility of working practices in the banking sector

The entities associated with CECA, linked by the Collective Agreement of Savings Banks and Financial Entities, reached an agreement last night, which is pending ratification by the union organizations, to fulfill the obligation to register working hours in the sector.

From CECA and its associated entities, the agreement is viewed very positively, as it combines compliance with the legal obligation established in the Workers’ Statute with the variety and flexibility of working practices currently demanded by banking activities.

The labor agreement will apply to the nearly 70,000 employees currently in the sector and has been reached with more than 75% of the union representation, held by the unions CCOO, FINE, and UGT.
