The entities associated with CECA reach a preliminary collective agreement for the next three years

The entities associated with CECA and connected by the Collective Agreement of Savings Banks and Financial Entities have reached a preliminary collective agreement with the majority of the union representation that includes an 11% salary increase over three years (5% in 2024, 3% in 2025, and 3% in 2026), as well as an additional one-time payment in 2024 of 1,000 euros for each employee.

CECA and the unions FINE, CCOO, UGT, CIC, and CIG formed the negotiating committee in November 2023, before the expiration of the previous agreement in December 2023, with the goal of expediting negotiations and reaching an agreement during the first quarter of 2024, thereby shortening the usual negotiation timelines.

This preliminary agreement has been reached with more than 86% of the union representation, held by the unions FINE, CCOO, and UGT. The parties have agreed to meet in the first week of April to draft the final text of the agreement.

CECA and its associated entities view the agreement positively, as it represents a clear acknowledgment of the work and commitment demonstrated by their employees, which is essential to successfully and stably face the coming years.

The agreement will apply to more than 55,000 members of the staff of CaixaBank, Unicaja, ABANCA, Ibercaja Banco, Caixa Ontinyent, Caixa Pollença, and Cecabank.
