The entities associated with CECA contribute more than 79% of the properties of the Social Housing Fund.
The Social Housing Fund was created on January 17, 2013, to comply with Royal Decree-Law, of November 15, on urgent measures to strengthen the protection of mortgage debtors, by which the Government was entrusted with the creation of a Social Housing Fund.
CECA participates in the Coordination and Monitoring Commission of the FSV representing the Sector.
On September 14, 2015, the entities signed an agreement to extend the Agreement, which contributed 3,974 additional housing units to the Social Housing Fund. Since the expansion, annual extensions to the agreement have been taking place.
In the latest report provided by the entities participating in the FSV to the Bank of Spain, 9,637 available homes were counted<, of which more than 79% were contributed by entities affiliated with CECA.
