V Congress of Financial Education Edufinet
“The challenge of ensuring financial inclusion in a changing environment” is the title of the V Congress of Financial Education held by the Edufinet Project, which will take place on November 16, 17, and 18, 2022. This edition, sponsored by Funcas Educa, will feature the participation of 50 experts from various disciplines. It will be both in-person at the Cultural Center Fundación Unicaja in Málaga (Episcopal Palace) and virtually through the link to the Youtube channel. Regarding the general objectives of the congress, it aims to serve as a meeting point for the various stakeholders involved or interested in financial education; to analyze the current situation to identify trends and points of interest; and to share knowledge and experiences. On Wednesday, November 16, our Head of Sustainability and Stakeholder Relations, Juan Carlos López, will participate in a roundtable titled “Access to Financial Services for the Elderly” alongside Francisco Carvajal from SECOT and Francisca García from UNED, moderated by Eugenio Luque from the University of Málaga. The following day, Monica Malo, Director of Communication-External Relations and Sustainability at CECA, will contribute to the panel “Specialties in Consumer Financial Protection” with Gloria Caballero from CNMV and Alfredo Echevarría from IEAF, moderated by Leticia Fernández from Unicaja Banco.
