CECA Social Action and Financial Education Awards 2021

In a year as challenging as 2021, entities and foundations have shown a strong commitment to society and the most vulnerable groups. In this context, with the social and economic life of citizens affected by the pandemic, social action and financial education projects have been more necessary than ever.

To acknowledge the work of those organizations that, through their efforts, have addressed the needs of the societies in which they operate, we, together with El Confidencial, celebrate a new edition of the CECA Social Action and Financial Education Awards, which will feature Ona Carbonell, ambassador for CECA’s Social Action and Financial Education, as the master of ceremonies, alongside Juan Carlos López, head of Sustainability, Social Action and Financial Education at CECA.

They will be responsible for delivering the awards in the various categories and subcategories, whose winners have been selected by a panel of experts made up of representatives from El Confidencial, Funcas, and Fundación Lealtad.

In total, 12 awards will be granted. In the social action area, the categories are: social action, culture and heritage, sports and leisure, local development and job creation, education and research, and the environment. Meanwhile, in the financial education area, the categories include: children and youth, adults, seniors, and entrepreneurs. Additionally, two special awards will be given: Special Jury Award for the trajectory of Social Action and Special Jury Award for the promotion of Financial Education.
