XIV Meeting of the Financial Sector

KPMG and Expansión organized the XIV Meeting of the Financial Sector on October 9 and 10 at the Rafael del Pino Auditorium in Madrid, attended by Antonio Romero, our Corporate Director of Associative Services and Resources.

Alongside Antonio, Gonzalo Gortázar from CaixaBank; Isidro Rubiales from Unicaja; Eduardo Ruiz from KutxaBank; and Víctor Iglesias from Ibercaja were also present. During the meeting, they addressed the evident commitment of the financial sector to sustainability, the importance of intelligent regulation that provides greater legal security, customer support, and collaboration with the public sector when it comes to addressing required investments.

In addition to celebrating over a decade of banking union and capital market integration among the various entities, interesting topics were discussed on the first day through various interviews and conversations, such as the commitment to solvency and trust in the banking sector, how Spanish banking has become a global leader in digitalization, and the changing landscape in the new monetary policy…

On the second day, in addition to the scheduled interviews, special interventions from leaders and several round tables took place to discuss global managers, the keys to the future of asset management, and the main trends in the insurance sector.
