CECA at the IV Conference on Sustainable Finance organized by Abanca and APD

On October 27, 2023, the IV Conference on Sustainable Finance, organized by Abanca and APD, took place. This event, held at the Teatro Campos Eliseos in Bilbao, brought together various entities from the banking sector, including CECA.

The conference was designed to discuss the analysis of new strategies for incorporating sustainability criteria, ethics, and social commitment in financial and business sectors.

Antonio Romero, corporate director of CECA, moderated one of the round tables planned for the event, where they discussed the contribution of the insurance sector to decarbonization. He was joined by Sergio Álvarez, general director of the General Directorate of Insurance (DGS), Sonia Lucio, general director of Abanca Seguros, and Mirenchu del Valle, president of UNESPA.
