Alberto Aza participates in Onda Madrid on the occasion of Financial Education Day

On the occasion of Financial Education Day, Alberto Aza, spokesperson for CECA, participated in Onda Madrid to discuss the investment made by the CECA sector in financial and digital education projects, particularly emphasizing those aimed at cybersecurity issues and the promotion of good practices when operating with digital banking.

During 2023, CECA, its associated entities, and its foundation Funcas invested 2.58 million euros to promote over 100 programs aimed at strengthening financial and digital education in Spain. As explained in the program The Focus on Onda Madrid, the 2023 Financial Education Executive Report reflects the main figures regarding the initiatives developed by the CECA sector to improve financial knowledge and digital skills of society in the past year.

Among the specific recommendations regarding cybersecurity, Alberto Aza, spokesperson for CECA, highlighted: “the regular changing of passwords, connecting from private networks rather than public ones, and, above all, never sharing access credentials for digital banking.”
