Cooperative Projects in the financial sector
CECA promotes cooperation initiatives among financial entities to improve sector efficiency, foster innovation, and respond to regulatory and technological challenges.
Projects in collaboration
The financial sector constantly evolves to respond to regulatory changes, fostering new forms of collaboration among entities. Sectoral coordination allows for the development of common initiatives, knowledge sharing, and strengthening the efficiency and resilience of the financial system.
CECA promotes and coordinates cooperative projects among financial entities, with the objective of promoting efficiency and sector alignment in areas of common interest. The action framework includes initiatives related to compliance with laws affecting the business model of entities, alignment with the expectations of the main supervisors, optimization of operational processes, and the development of technological projects that foster innovation and cyber resilience.
These projects are identified and developed in the delegated committees of the Coordination Committee, the main internal supervisory body of associative activity, which acts as a forum for cooperation and a channel for joint initiatives. Collaborative work among entities is promoted from these committees, facilitating information exchange, shared analysis, and the definition of common positions.
Among the main projects currently underway at CECA stand out:
-
Report with proposals for measures to improve the competitiveness of the Spanish banking sector
-
Securitization of AI applications of entities
-
Adaptation to the requirements of the AML package
-
Adaptation to the consumer credit directive and its implementing regulations
-
Tabletop exercise (simulation of the failure of a critical service)
