Structure of governance and representation of the sector

The governance, administration, management, and control of CECA correspond to the General Assembly and the Board of Directors, according to the competencies established in each case in the Bylaws.

Both the General Assembly and the Board of Directors act collegially, and the members perform their functions solely for the benefit of CECA's interests, the entities they represent, and the fulfillment of their social function.

Assembly General

The General Assembly is the supreme governing and decision-making body of CECA and is composed of representatives designated by the Savings Banks and by other affiliated credit institutions.

Commission of Foundations and Social Work

Savings banks, through the foundations linked to them or their Social Work Commission, as well as banking foundations, can participate in the Commission of Foundations and Social Work.

This is the main forum for the exchange of experiences, cooperation and study in the field of Social Work. This body is of an advisory nature and is linked to Funcas.
