The 4th Sustainable Finance Conference, organised by Abanca and APD, was held on 27 October 2023. This event, which was held at the Campos Eliseos Theatre in Bilbao, brought together several entities from the banking sector, including CECA.
The conference was structured to analyse the new strategies for embedding sustainability, ethics and social commitment criteria in the financial and business sectors.
Antonio Romero, Corporate Director at CECA, moderated one of the event's panels, which discussed the contribution of the insurance sector to decarbonisation. He was accompanied by Sergio Álvarez, Director General of the Directorate-General for Insurance (DGS), Sonia Lucio, CEO of Abanca Seguros, and Mirenchu del Valle, President of UNESPA.
